Kristoff and Anna work together to find the latter’s estranged sister, the Snow Queen, to end the curse of eternal winter in the kingdom.
Frozen is a musical fantasy animation. It has been on and off production for quite some time but after the success of Tangled in 3D, which is based on the story of Rapunzel, Frozen was able to push through and will also be shown in 3D which is great news especially for the young and young at heart.
Given this, a lot of people expect the delivery of the film to be significantly similar to Tangled. This means Frozen has a big chance to be as successful (or more) as its predecessor. The style of the two movies may be the same but their main difference lies in the plot’s theme.
Fans of animated movies are also looking forward to seeing the 12th Disney princess (Anna, the Ice Princess) who will make her debut in Frozen. Another character to look forward to is Olaf, the hilarious snowman.
The recently released trailer of the movie that showcases Olaf (the snowman) and Sven (the reindeer) clearly shows that the film has a promising take on comedy and fantasy.
One more thing to be excited about is the probability of an awesome sound track in this animated musical film since Broadway composers (husband and wife tandem) Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez are in charge of writing the songs.
Another telltale sign of the film’s excellence are the directors Jennifer Lee who is one of the screenwriters of the hit animation Wreck-It Ralph and Chris Buck who co-directed Tarzan which is another well-known animated movie based on a classic story.
All these assets make Frozen something to be giddy about.
